RepBucks uses your phone's camera and on-device AI (Google ML Kit) to track 33 body points in real-time. It measures joint angles to verify each burpee — checking knee bend depth, push-up elbow angles, and full extension on the jump. All processing happens on your phone. No video is ever uploaded.
Yes. All pose detection runs entirely on your device. No images, video, or body tracking data ever leave your phone. We literally cannot see your camera feed. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
1. Sign up as a Parent and create a family group.
2. You'll get a 6-character invite code.
3. Your kids sign up, choose "Kid" role, and enter the code.
4. Everyone's connected! You'll see their workouts and can approve screen time requests.
Every burpee earns 1 base RepBuck. But here's the kicker: your streak multiplier grows each day you work out. Day 1 = 1x, Day 5 = 5x, Day 30 = 30x. Miss a day and it resets to 1x. So 10 burpees on a 5-day streak earns 50 RepBucks, not 10.
Kids earn RepBucks through burpees, then request screen time (15, 30, or 60 minutes). Parents get a notification and can approve or deny. Parents control the exchange rate (how many RepBucks per minute of screen time).
Make sure your phone can see your full body (head to feet). Prop it against something stable about 6-8 feet away, in landscape or portrait. Good lighting helps. The AI works best when it can see all your joints clearly.
Yes. RepBucks is free to download and use. There are no ads, no in-app purchases, and no premium tiers. We built it for our own family first.
RepBucks is available on iPhone (iOS 16+). Android support is coming soon. The app requires a front or rear camera for AI rep counting.
